Let's be real: almost every phone looks better in white. Okay, so that's strictly a matter of personal opinion -- but if you're a white phone kind of person, turn your attention away from the forever-delayed iPhone 4
and toward a couple that are launching shortly thanks to some new details from Best Buy. Turns out Verizon's white Fascinate and AT&T's white X10 are both scheduled to hit on October 24, alongside the Dell Streak  -- not in white, by the bye -- followed by the HTC Surround on November 8 (which we already knew). Any of 'em can be yours for a $50 deposit.

Affordable Term Life Insurance - Cheap Term Life Insurance

Online Affordable Term Life Insurance
With thousands of insurance agencies and companies providing affordable term life insurance packages online today, choosing cheap term life insurance policies is not necessarily the best option.
Because premiums are lower than other plans, the best term life insurance plan will usually be affordable. Term life insurance will cover you or your loved ones for a set period, which ranges anywhere from 5, 10, 20 to 30. Upon expiration and if you renew, your premium, or the amount you pay, may increase.
Term life insurance is popular today due to its flexibility, which allows you to pick a policy when you feel you need it. Many companies will offer cheap term life insurance policies, but these will offer less financial coverage and term limits may be limited.

Find the Best Term Life Insurance With A No-Medical Exam Policy
When deciding on your policy of affordable term life insurance, no medical exam policies provide a number of benefits. Insurance agencies and underwriters will look at a variety of things when underwriting coverage to determine what the best term life insurance policy is for you. Medical history, age, weight, smoking behavior, gender etc…No medical exam policies will be underwritten based on your answers to a series of questions, which determine types of coverage cost of your policy.
Premiums on affordable term life insurance generally remain fixed for the policy duration or limit. Premiums will vary based on the individual, so it is difficult to say how much you will pay. Policies can range from $10,000 to $1 million or more, which is the amount your beneficiaries will receive upon your death. Insurance will also cover funeral expenses, and other costs.
The basic formula is relatively simple: higher amount of coverage you choose, the higher your premium. Among other factors affecting your premium:
  • Smoking – Policies can be found for smokers, but premiums will be higher.
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Age
  • Marital status, children
  • Occupation
Return of premium life insurance has also become a popular option, because it is generally less expensive than whole life (which covers you until death) and is underwritten in terms. Your paid premiums are returned when the policy expires if you do not die. Many consider this the best term life insurance policy option due to its flexibility and financial benefits.

How to Choose Car Insurance Coverage

If you own a car, there's no way around this–you have to have insurance coverage. It can sometimes be a bit overwhelming, though, when it comes to choosing your coverage. Deciding what type of coverage to get, negotiating deductibles, figuring out which carrier to go with--all are things that can get you easily confused, particularly if you're new to shopping for car insurance. Don't worry, though. Just keep a few simple pointers in mind when you're choosing your insurance plan.

  • 1
Determine how much coverage you need. If you have a car that has a bank loan on it, you may be required to carry full coverage on it. If your car is an old beater that you restored for a few hundred dollars, chances are that minimum liability will be fine. You may be required by law to carry more coverage on teenage drivers who live in your home. Check to find out what your state's minimum coverage requirements are. Also, determine what sort of deductible you're willing to pay. A deductible of $1,000 may seem like a lot, compared to a $500 deductible, but it could mean a significantly lower monthly premium. Remember, you only have to pay your deductible if you're at fault in an accident.

  • 2
Look at your own driving record. When you're shopping for insurance coverage, your driving record is going to factor in. If you've had multiple accidents, or you have a long history of speeding tickets, you may find yourself paying much higher premiums than other drivers. However, just like your credit score, it's important to make sure that the information on your driving record is correct. Check with your state's Department of Motor Vehicles to see what your driving record is like. If you have points on your license, and some are about to drop off, wait until they're gone before you begin getting quotes from insurance carriers.

  • 3
Get quotes from insurance companies. Thanks to the Internet, you can often get competitive quotes from a number of insurance carriers all at the same time. Once you've gathered some preliminary quotes, pick up the phone and start calling insurance agents in your area. Speaking to a real person will allow you to confirm the quote you've gotten online.

  • 4
Evaluate the insurance companies. Once you've gotten some quotes you like, it's time to do a little digging. Find out if the company is reputable. Check with the Better Business Bureau in your state, and see if complaints have been filed about the company. Ask friends who might have their car insurance through the company if they've ever had any problem filing a claim, or been hit with "hidden" charges on their premiums. Call your local body shops, and ask them how the company is to work with–mechanics are happy to tell you if an insurance company is slow to pay, or doesn't pay at all, for repairs after a collision.

  • 5
Finally, review your contract before you sign on the dotted line. Make sure you're not giving up anything important, like the legal right to sue your insurance company for nonpayment. Also, make sure there's no "after-market parts" clause in your contract. If the insurance agent is unwilling to change the contract to your satisfaction, then don't feel bad about walking away. You can always find a competitor to give you a better policy.

Eric Stoltz was the original Marty McFly?

Everyone knows the classic 1985 film "Back To The Future" featured a boyish Michael J. Fox in a winning performance as Marty McFly.

But Fox was not the original McFly. In fact, Eric Stoltz was five weeks into shooting the famed McFly role when director and co-writer Robert Zemeckis made a drastic production decision -- changing his lead actor.

Details of the shocking Hollywood switch and never-before-seen footage of Stoltz as McFly are part of the extras package for the "Back To The Future 25th Anniversary Trilogy" to be released on Blu-Ray on Oct. 26.

Zemeckis says the casting change was "this horrific decision; it was heartbreaking for everybody."

Executive producer Steven Spielberg said that Zemeckis consulted him before pursuing the casting change.

"(Zemeckis) showed me the first five weeks of shooting that he had put together," Spielberg said. " And he said, 'I just don't think we're getting the laughs I was hoping we would get.' "

Spielberg said he realized his director "was absolutely correct."

The rest is pop-culture history. Zemeckis was able to "convince the studio to let me reshoot five weeks of work," and Michael J. Fox was cast in a career-defining role. "Back To The Future," released on Oct. 26, 1986, would go on to gross $381 million worldwide and lead to two further sequels.
